Students competing in the 2014 national World Skills competition, beauty care category will be creating indigenous influenced, fantasy makeup looks with products from SLA Paris.

The brand, which is the top makeup brand for beauty colleges throughout France, is an ethical, natural and luxurious professional product, with an extensive range that is perfect for exercising creative flair.

Sydney based company Encore Beauty, who import SLA to Australia, were delighted to be asked to contribute makeup kits for the national competition, which takes place in Perth in September, as well as the regional competitions in early 2015.

Managing Director Maureen Bartlett says “it is a wonderful opportunity to see the next generation of beauty professional get such great exposure to the brand. SLA is an outstanding product range and is often featured in international competitions so we were excited to have the chance to showcase it through Australia. We are looking forward to seeing what the World Skills competitors will make of it.”

World Skills Co Ordinator, Christine Churchill, says “I chose to approach Encore Beauty to form a partnership with WorldSkills Australia to supply us with SLA Makeup for the make up sections of the Beauty care category for the 2014 National competitions to be held in Perth this year. Students will be required to demonstrate their skill level across nails, beauty therapy and makeup with the winner of the competition going on to compete on the international stage later in 2014.
